The Nastech Bin are one of the most hygienic waste disposal systems in the kitchen. It is square and has a capacity of 24 litres and is available in a mirror or satin finish.
The Autobin lid opens automatically when the infra-red beam is broken (within 15cm). After aboout 7 seconds, the lid automatically closes. However, if your hands stay within the area for a longer period, the lid will remain open. Autobin lid opens and closes automatically

There is an override facility (an "open" button) that allows the lid to be opened and remain open whilst longer cleaning tasks are completed. Press the "close" button to shut the lid. The AUTOBIN then returns to the standard automatic operation.
Requires 4 x D cell batteries. On average, the batteries should give up to 20 openings per day, for up to 18 months. The first set of batteries is included.
